Which hardware do you need to use Signagram?
You need 2 devices to use Signagram: a digital signage content player and a professional digital signage display.
In addition, you also need a stable internet connection, an HDMI cable, an RJ45 ethernet cable and a power socket.
If you use the NEC Open Modular Solution, Signagram comes pre-installed through a slot on the back of your display.
Content player
The following content players are compatible with the Signagram content management software:
- Signagram’s proprietary Raspberry Pi player.
- The built-in Raspberry Pi player of your NEC display.
- Any Scala compliant content player.

Digital signage display
You can use Signagram with any professional signage display. Please keep in mind that:
- Not all signage displays are suitable for 24/7 use.
- Not all signage displays can be used in portrait orientation.
- A consumer grade TV is NOT a professional signage display.

Internet connection
Signagram can be used with any broadband internet connection.
A wired connection is preferred, but a Wi-Fi connection works fine as well. (Do note that a wireless connection might require you to restart your device every once in a while.)
Although it can be used, a powerline adapter is the least reliable option.

Which templates and widgets are available?
Signagram comes preloaded with several handy widgets and templates that allow you to display:
- your social media posts,
- your opening hours,
- a weather forecast,
- your real estate listings,
- your restaurant or bar menu,
- your job offers,
- public holidays,
- the birthdays of your employees,
- your employee of the month,
- …
Even more options will be made available in the future!
But you can also create your own custom templates by combining text, images and videos. This allows you to display information, advertisements, inspiring quotes and much more. Your creativity is the only limit!

How does Signagram use artificial intelligence?
The Signagram picture library has an intelligent search function that allows you to search for images by using words describing themes and emotions. If you enter ‘happy’ for example, your search will return images with smiling people, vibrant colors, etc.
But that’s not all! Artificial Intelligence also allows you to remove the background from any picture in just 1 click, giving you endless possibilities to combine and create new images.
How do you set up Signagram on your NEC display?
In tune with our philosophy, setting up Signagram is incredibly easy: You can bring your player online in less than 10 minutes. Just follow these steps:
- Set up your NEC display.
- Use the remote control to access the CMS overview.
- Select ‘Signagram’ and press ‘install’. You will receive a pin code.
- Go to https://accesspanel.signagram.com/register and enter the pin code.
- Follow the steps on the page to complete your registration.
- Verify your account using the code you received by e-mail.
Completed these steps? Your account is now up and running! From now on, you can log in to http://accesspanel.signagram.com and start creating your own content.
Which live feeds are available for Signagram?
Signagram has several optional live feeds you can show to your visitors and clients:
- News feeds: local, world, health, environmental, business, technology, science, entertainment, sports, culture, lifestyle, …
- Daily feeds: good news, daily quotes, thought of the day, what happened today in history, famous birthdays, horoscope, …
